Just 20 km away from the main viewpoint at the Fish River Canyon, the Cañon Lodge consists of 25 natural stone chalets with en-suite bathroom and thatched roofs. Relax on the terrace shaded by trees or at the swimming pool. Due to its elaborate décor Cañon Roadhouse (24 km to main viewpoint) has almost acquired cult status in Namibia: the good old days of the automobile are celebrated with great attention to detail. It offers 20 very neat en-suite rooms, an à la carte restaurant with terrace, a bar, a petrol station and an information centre. For alfresco fans there are beautiful camping sites which allow for privacy.
