Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is situated in the Kaokoland, often described as one of the last truly wild areas in the North West of Namibia and it features beautiful mountain landscapes and rugged tranquillity. The lodge, in Purros Conservancy, is a no risk malaria destination. Our activities include • Game and Nature drives • Sunrise and Sunset drives • Hiking trails in and around the Hoarusib Valley • Elephant drives • Bird watching • Be part of our unique Desert Lion Project • Visit the local Himba Village. The menu changes daily, a delicious fusion of Italian and African cuisine, always served with excellent South African Wines; most of the fresh produce come from our own organic garden. Everyday we bake fresh bread and muffins.
